Maison
Est. Paris
We make garments
from a single line,
and very little else.
Maison Linea was founded in a low room with north light, by a pattern-cutter who believed that a coat could be resolved in one stroke of the pencil. The house still works that way: forty pieces a year, each cut from a single drawn line, each made to order in our Paris atelier and in three family workshops in Italy.
We do not follow trends, hold sales, or make anything we would not wear ourselves for twenty years. The palette is black, ivory and stone, with one colour a season, used sparingly.

Atelier values
Four
commitments.
- 01
One line
Every garment is resolved from a single drawn line. If a detail interrupts it, the detail goes.
- 02
Fewer, better
We produce two collections a year of no more than forty pieces. Each is made to order in our atelier and in three family workshops in Italy.
- 03
Cloth first
We begin with the fabric, not the sketch. Our mills in Biella, Prato and Como have worked with the house since its first season.
- 04
For life
Any piece can be returned for repair, at any age, for as long as the house exists.
